FREE TASTER - RESERVE YOUR PLACE NOW
We held a taster session on Saturday 20th February at our new branch which opened in North London.
Please go to Branches to see some of the feedback from this Free Taster Day and to see how you can try out classes if you missed the Trial Day.
Our guiding principle is to provide a safe, supportive envionment for young people to explore the performing arts, whether they have dreams of entering the profession or simply wish to use the performing arts classes to learn some valuable life enhancing skills.
Students are put in classes according to their age and follow a timetable of drama / film, dance and singing. Set and costume design provides an occasional alternative. This timetable is put in place to ensure that students become all round performers.
As well as the regular timetable, students also have the opportunity to enter our in-house competitions, such as Stars in their Eyes, Voice Idol and Oscars, (a chance to show off drama pieces and win an AF School Oscar).
Before a definite place can be offered an auditions needs to be attended. These auditions are nothing to worry about. We do not expect every young person to have experience in the performing arts. We are simply looking for focus, enthusiasm and commitment.
Please see Branches for details about each individual branch.
Emphasis is placed on the following:
Teamwork, self-expression, confidence, communication,discipline,encouragement,respect,friendships,fun,energy motivation
