Curious Goings On!
One of our drama students is currently very busy working on a new series for CBBC which will be aired next year. She is working along side some wonderful actors and we can’t wait to see what they discover on the show….!
Cadbury’s Olympic Countdown
Keep an eye out for the Cadbury’s Olympic Countdown commercial featuring the song ‘The Final Countdown’ which is currently on TV. It features 3 of our drama students singing along in support of Team GB. Go GB!!
Disney’s After School Club
With only a couple of weeks left of the Summer Holidays it is time to start thinking about term time again! One of our drama students has been doing that this week when she worked with Walt Disney Company Ltd. on their After School Club promo. Catch her on screen soon!
BBC World Service
We are pleased to annouce that one of our drama school students will be working with BBC World Service on a new radio project ‘Shattered’. It is a fantastic project and we look forward to hearing it when it is aired.
Drama Student is Lego Newsreader
This week one of the students of our London drama school has been working with CSC Media on a new commercial for Lego. Look out for the news bulletins advertising Lego.
Summer School 2011
This week, 25th-29th July is the Anna Fiorentini Summer Drama School. Students have been working hard on training in Musical Theatre performance during the course of the week which will end with a showcase for friends and family. We’ve got our ‘Hands on History’
One of the students of our drama school has recently started working with the BBC for their website ‘Hands on History’. She will be playing the role of Mona and helping to guide students through history. We’re all looking forward to learning a bit more from this site.
Disney’s The Lion King
We are proud to announce that one of our drama students has recently been cast as Simba in The Lion King in the West End’s Lyceum Theatre. He will start performances in the Autumn.
AF Drama Student to hit the Big Screen
One of our drama students will begin filming at the end of the month for the new Brit flick, Song for Marion. She will be surrounded by some of Britain’s top talent Christopher Eccleston, Terence Stamp, Vanessa Redgrave and Gemma Arterton. We can’t wait to see her up on the big screen with such talent!

The drama school celebrates its 10th Anniversary on Saturady 2nd April with a Gala Variety Performance at the Hackney Empire. The AF ‘Top Boy’

Nickelodeon Visits North London
Last Saturday saw Nickelodeon’s visit to our North London Drama School Branch. They spent time with over 30 of our students, working on short scripts and filming in front of a green screen. Anna Fiorentini, London Drama school would like to welcome ex-student Belinda Owusu on board as our School Ambassador. She has recently finished a 4 year contract with BBC’s EastEnders and the Anna Fiorentini, London Drama School are delighted that she will be continuing to support the drama school.

Learning to be a Presenter!

Panto Season is Coming…..!

Farewell Walford – Part One
Congratulations to one of our ex-students, Belinda Owusu, who has just finished playing Libby Fox on BBC’s EastEnders. What we thought would be a one year contract turned into four years and we are very proud of her work during her time at EastEnders!
Radio 4 Drama
We would like to congratulate two of our students who have just been cast in a forthcoming drama for BBC Radio 4 which will record later in the Summer. Well Done!
Short Film for Universal
We would like to congratulate 4 of our older agency clients, who recently worked with Firecracker Films, on their short film ‘A Day in the Life of the Family Cloud’. This short will be used internally by Universal.
