Let’s be friends!
You can become a friend of the drama school for as little as £5 a month. The drama school is a not for profit organisation. All fees pay for expenses. Other donations go towards bursaries / subsidised places as well as towards our shows that give students the opportunity to develop their skills and confidence.
Parents/Guardians and local schoolteachers have reported that in the majority of our students, punctuality, focus, behaviour, and confidence have improved and that this has been reflected in their normal weekday drama school environment.
By becoming a Friend of the drama school you would help sponsor a child who would otherwise not be able to afford to attend. The drama school runs on Saturdays during normal drama school term times. There are 3 terms per year. Each term costs £305. This works out at £915 per year. Divided by 52, this is £17.60 a week per child.
BELOW ARE THE VARIOUS OPTIONS FOR DONATIONS:
OPTION 1 – The One Termer
This could be broken down into 12 monthly payments of £26.
This option would cover one term for a grateful student.
You would receive:
- Yearly newsletter
- 2 VIP tickets to our yearly show at the Hackney Empire
Total donation: £305
OPTION 2 – The Two Termer
This could be broken down into 12 monthly payments of £51.
This option would cover two terms for a grateful student.
You would receive:
- Yearly newsletter
- 3 VIP tickets to our yearly show at the Hackney Empire
- Your name acknowledged in our show’s programme
Total donation: £610
OPTION 3 – The Terminator
This could be broken down into 12 monthly payments of £77.
This option would cover three terms, a whole year, for a grateful student.
You would receive:
- Yearly newsletter
- 4 VIP tickets to our yearly show at the Hackney Empire
- Your name/company acknowledged in our show’s programme
- A yearly report on your student’s progress

Although all of the above pay for one or more terms for a child, any size of donation would be most welcome and would go towards bursaries. One-off payments would be just as welcome! Should you donate a minimum of £10 a month you will receive one VIP ticket and a chance to see where your money has gone.

If so, please enquire about our Silver, Gold and Platinum Sponsor Schemes, which could provide your company with good marketing, PR and staff training opportunities, whilst helping the many children who attend this drama school.
