This 10 week course exposes students to the rigour, skill and resilience required by actors for the audition process including self-presentation, preparation, adaptability to the director and casting director, and malleability to the material.

Director Russell Bolam trained at Middlesex University and GITIS Academy of Theatre Arts, Moscow.
He is best known for his collaborations with Evening Standard Award winning playwright Anya Reiss on Anton Chekhov’s major plays. His casts for The Seagull, Three Sisters and Uncle Vanya include John Hannah, Lily James, Matthew Kelly and Paul McGann.
Russell has taught and directed at drama schools including Arts Ed, Central School of Speech and Drama, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, LIPA, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Oxford School of Speech and Drama and WAAPA.
