Our Drama Classes

The Anna Fiorentini Theatre & Film School for 4 – 18 year olds, which is a not-for-profit organisation opened in 2001 and has gone on to win numerous Business Awards. The drama school has a growing reputation within the performing arts industry and now has multiple branches throughout London. Students follow a full timetable of singing, acting, dance and film (acting for screen) giving them a well rounded training in performing arts.

Drama Classes

Drama classes will actively encourage students to creatively express themselves. They will develop confidence in improvising situations, script work and developing scenes as part of a team. They will learn about the value of drama and character analysis and what it actually takes to keep an audience intrigued. The syllabus includes:

Dance Classes

Dance classes will concentrate on giving students physical confidence, awareness and freedom of expression. Various styles will be explored as well as a range of dancing techniques. The syllabus includes:

  • Choreography
  • Modern
  • Funky Jazz
  • Historical Dance
  • Salsa
  • Contemporary

Singing Classes

Singing classes will develop students confidence in their voice both as soloists and as part of an ensemble. They will work on the technicalities of using their voice including pitch, breath, harmony as well as how to express emotion through song. The syllabus includes:

  • Music Score Reading

Film Classes

Film classes will teach students the difference between acting on stage and acting for the camera. Students will work on short term projects, developing their own scripts for genres such as soap operas, commercials and short films. Students will have the opportunity to film as well as to take the role of actor, director, cameraman and technical crew. We also invite professional directors/ cameramen to give master-classes in ‘acting for the camera’ to students. The syllabus includes:
