"I'd been to the summer school last year so I knew it would be great. But I didn't expect to be able to meet so many different people from so many different countries, like the US, Turkey, and Denmark. It's a great opportunity to make new friends and to learn how to be a part of a show and perform musical theatre." Fiona, 14 yrs.

"The Anna Fiorentini summer school is a great way for children and young people to entertain themselves during the summer holidays. They get to learn new skills and stay active through dancing and singing and will make good friends outside their usual school peer groups. My daughter went to the summer school last year and had such a brilliant time with old friends and new ones that she was really keen to come back to it again this year. It's a wonderful bonus that a trip to a West End musical is included as part of the week. It doesn't really matter if the musical being created by students during the week is not to your child's taste - they will enjoy the experience of auditioning for parts (if they want to), rehearsals, and all the hard work, team effort and camaraderie that goes into putting a show together. As parents you can help by going through lines with your child and finding the musical numbers online to help your child practise. It's always astonishing how good the performance is on the last day, thanks to the efforts of the students, teaching and admin staff and parents and carers." Frances, Mother of student.

"Our son really enjoyed the course last year and was absolutely certain he wanted to learn some new skills, challenge himself and make new friends this year!

The course and the final production exceeded our expectations once again as my partner and I were left perplexed- thinking How are they going to reenact their own version of Bugsy in a week?!
He ended every day practicing or telling us about something new he had learnt. Our son's confidence and talent has grown so much. Thank you AF!!" Mother of 9 year old student.
