Get ready to rumble...
Calling everybody with a sense of humour and 3 left feet to be part of our Fiorentini Foundation's Sponsored Lip Sync Dance Battle.
If we get 20 adults taking part that can raise a minimum of £50 each this will help support up to 10 disadvantaged children via the performing arts. The less experienced you are, and the more out of your comfort zone the better! Your friends are more likely to sponsor you!
To take part you must be available for rehearsals taking place on 10th and 17th March 2016, 6.30pm - 9pm in Islington, (let us know in advance if you can't get there till 7pm) and be available for the actual showcase on Saturday 19th March, (and the dress and technical rehearsal that afternoon). This routine will close Act 1 of Stage & the City's showcase. Last year we did It's Raining Men and it brought the house down!
Let's face it...this is less commiment than a marathon and a lot more fun! Plus the rehearsals are free...so you get 2 free dance lessons taught by Mark Short who choreographed the actual Ant n' Dec's Let's get Ready to Rumble routine...if he can teach them he can teach you!
There will also be an after show party at Radicals in Islington 10pm - 2am for particpants and their friends who have bought tickets to the show.
Even if you can't make it please encourage friends to get in touch annd be a good sport!

“This event will support 20 disadvantaged children that are at risk of social exclusion and help keep them away from the temptation of gang crime, suicide and chaotic home lives. What's more you get 2 free dance classes with one of Tina Turner's and Peter Andre's choreorgrapher. And it actually helps if you have 2 left feet!!”
